The glossy claims to have an exclusive from J.Lo about her wedding to Marc Anthony. But Lopez's camp says it was never discussed.
"In Style was freaking out because they interviewed Jennifer before
anyone knew there was going to be a wedding," says an insider. "So they had an August cover story with nothing about the marriage, which is all anyone wants to know about."
A rep for In Style told me they got back in touch with Lopez after the first interview and discussed her nups.
"Not true," says Leslie Sloan Zelnick, J.Lo's rep.
Zelnick says J.Lo spoke once to In Style, as well as to Marie Claire, for a September cover, but did not discuss her marital status with either magazine.
Lopez and Anthony have not yet publicly commented on - or even confirmed - their presumed marriage.
Adds my snitch: "Someone's head is going to roll over this, and it'll probably be at In Style."
A loo-loo of a problem
Maybe P. Diddy's peeps could use some sensitivity training.
A Gatecrasher mole retrieved the following note from the women's rest room on the floor shared by Sean John and Bad Boy at 1440 Broadway: "So obviously the flowery prose isn't working. Some of you female employees still insist on being nasty."
The memo notes that "there are receptacles for emptying your body in ... use them," as well as "receptacles for putting your trash in ... use them."
Then there's a line about, well, a bodily fluid we won't mention. The note concludes: "One more incident like this and there will be a mandatory personal hygiene seminar for all female employees at Sean John and Bad Boy."
Says my fly on the ladies' room wall, "There were three copies of the note taped to the walls. How hilarious is that?"
Somehow I don't think the janitor's laughing.
Fast-forwarding 'Survivor' sex tape
An Internet sex video didn't do Paris Hilton any harm, but it may not give every reality star a 16th minute of fame.
Wags are marveling that a sex romp starring "Survivor: All-Stars'" Jenna Lewis and her new husband, a former Abercrombie & Fitch model, appeared to take just two days to hit the Web.
Lewis, 26, and Travis Wolfe, 21, got hitched in Las Vegas on May 1 after six weeks of dating.
The video, which purports to be from their wedding night, debuted at a Web site on May 3. For $39.99, viewers can enjoy 42 minutes of studio-quality Kama Sutra.
But how did the tape get out so quickly? Reps for Lewis adamantly deny their client is peddling her own porn. "They absolutely did not have anything to do with distributing the tape. It was stolen from them."
Aperture Media Services, which runs the Web site, did not respond to requests for comment.
